Tasha Lawton
Qualified Counsellor / Facilitator / Postgrad Sexology Studies
I’m a qualified counsellor completing a postgraduate degree in Sexology. I’ve been working in respectful relationships and facilitated groups with young people dealing with domestic violence for over ten years. Before that, I worked in advertising and film in the UK, Sydney and Melbourne. In 2023, the stars aligned and it all culminated in where I am today and I couldn’t be happier.
Steph Witbreuk
Consulting Teacher | Masters in Primary Teaching
I have a Masters in Primary Teaching and have been teaching for 5 years across various age groups. Year 5 may be my favourite as they seem to have the most amazingly creative ideas. I am passionate about student agency and engaging parents in their child's education. We are all a team that works to support each student holistically. Before teaching I ran a range of educational programs with children from ages 1-13 and absolutely loved getting to use music, team work, problem solving challenges and sports to get students excited about learning.
Jenny Walsh
Sex Ed. Speaker / Writer / Researcher / Mother
Jenny, with a background in primary education, transitioned into community health education at the Port Kembla Sexual Health Education Unit, fearlessly tackling topics like condom use with teenagers and individuals on probation. As a senior member of the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health, and Society at La Trobe University, she spent two decades translating research into educational materials for children and adolescents. Notable projects include the internationally acclaimed "The Practical Guide to Love, Sex and Relationships for Years 7-10," featuring engaging videos on relationship skills, pornography, sexual consent, and gender. Collaborating with organisations like the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation and the Centre for Excellence in Rural Sexual Health, Jenny developed sex education resources for families. Commissioned by the Department of Education and Training in 2012, she created "Catching On Early," a primary school teaching resource. Passionate about promoting respectful relationships, Jenny focuses on age-appropriate education, addressing body autonomy, safety, and fostering positive expectations for ethical, mutual, consensual, and pleasurable sexual relationships to prevent sexual abuse, unplanned pregnancies, and STIs/HIV.
Jenny was a contributor to the identity section (Gender, Identity, Inclusivity, Stereotypes and Diversity).
Betsy Tolmer

I have had an eclectic career, from working in Event Production, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Education and Career Consulting and I have even worked for Santa himself with project managing installation of Christmas Trees all over the city. In all my roles people have always been at the core, and my passion and purpose was finally realised when I started working on MiniBOSS and Tripod to connect young people with great learning experiences.
Marita D'Amico

With a love for business and travel, I have started and run businesses and ventures in Australia and overseas since university where I specialised in Marketing and Economics. Being curious and enjoying a challenge, I spent seven years based in Shanghai and Beijing running several joint ventures, projects and high profile events with Chinese, UK and European organisations. I have been a member of the Australia China Business Council, AustCham Beijing and also participated in the SME Working Group in Education in Beijing. Returning to Australia four years ago, I became passionate about helping young Australians gain the skills they need to succeed in whatever they do at home and as global citizens.
Veronica Brogden
PDHPE Specialist / Presenter / Writer
Veronica Brogden is an experienced PDHPE Specialist and has written, taught and assessed programs within this KLA from Kindergarten to University level. Veronica has presented workshops for K- 12 teachers statewide in PDHPE and other topics of development. Veronica has a wide range of experience in a variety of contexts: Casual and Permanent Teaching roles, ACHPER NSW as a Presenter and Resource Developer and as a writer of resources for Talk Revolution and ReachOut. Veronica believes that every student has the potential to achieve success if, as teachers, we can find their 'Super Powers' and develop learning experiences that build on what is already there. We can do this through a needs and strength based approach in the Universal Design for Learning and Growth Mindset paradigms. Veronica is currently the Head of Mission at CathWest Innovation College in Western Sydney.
